How to use?
The makita biscuit joiner is a tool to join two pieces of wood together in combination with wood glue. It serves an analogous function to a dowel joiner. It can be used for glue-ups at different joint angles and will make any wood joint much stronger.
The image below depicts the side of the biscuit joiner. To the left of the figure there is a black knob, which is used to adjust the height of the fence. To adjust the height, first loosen the handle on the far side of the machine and start turning the knob to adjust the height. Set the height to exactly half the thickness of the pieces you want to join together.
